Organic Kiwifruit

Nowadays organic products are very valued on the market (especially in the European and Northern American markets), the consumer is always attentive and well-aware. We are experiencing a return to the past, to a tradition made of genuineness and freshness: organic farming means developing a mode of production of fresh vegetables and fruits paying maximum respect to the natural resources, in order to conserve the environment and protect the consumers’ health.
As all the more traded fruit and vegetable varieties at a global level, also the kiwifruit is more and more cultivated by producer countries that acquired more awareness to organic farming and to consumers’ choices: there is an increase in the number of fruit and vegetable companies that produce organic kiwifruits.

Organic farming and also the production of organic kiwifruit, is increasingly part of the consumer's conscience, who is more respectful of the environment and pays more attention in choosing the cultivar.
In cultivating organic kiwifruit, natural organic fertilizers are mainly used, avoiding excessive watering, which would make the fruit less savoury and more subject to deterioration.
There are more and more producers of organic kiwifruit, importers of organic kiwifruit, exporters of organic kiwifruit, wholesalers of organic kiwifruit and retailers of organic kiwifruit, who embraced the methods and values of organic farming.

Consumers, more and more attentive to the healthiness of fruit and to its properties appreciate this kind of fresh fruit: it is shown by the market that is expanding and the international productions of the very fresh fruit and vegetable product.
However, cultivating organic kiwifruit gives a new quality element to the consumer, because of the absolute absence of products for the storing of fruit that instead are largely used in traditional products to extend the shelf-life.
Furthermore, the short die that usually is typical of the production of organic kiwifruit is an important element for the fruit and vegetable companies.
Fruit and vegetable products coming from organic farming are produced using production methods that allow to utilize only substances of natural origins. It is an extremely important step for the consumer, as it outlines the quality of the process and of all the entities involved in the production of kiwifruit, guaranteed by the label of the fruit and vegetable product on the international market, with fruit and vegetable companies for the production of organic kiwifruit certified according to norms as to organic farming: the label, is thus a “certification” of valid, healthy and higher quality fruit and vegetable products.
